Which Star Wars Planet Makes The Best Home?

Scott · May 25, 2021 · Leave a Comment

There is no denying that the Star Wars galaxy is home to a spectacular range of distinct planets. Be it the dry desert-like Tatooine or the busy city of Coruscant, you will find innumerable ways of living in the galaxy which is so far away.

There were some points examined in an interview carried out by Betway online casino with the expert of Star Wars Sessions Matt Hudson, who is the Star Wars Sessions podcast co-owner. Let’s find out what they had to say.

  • Bespin

Bespin is basically a huge ball of gas that is near the Cloud City, based above the surface of the planet.

Matt Hudson: “Well, Bespin is a gigantic ball of gas, and Cloud City is the welcoming spot at the top which is all quite scientific. It is managed by Lando Calrissian and looks great. The place looks more like a home after retirement and hence it wouldn’t be an ideal place to live.”

  • Coruscant

It is a city planet that had its whole surface shielded by a huge metropolis.

Matt Hudson: “If city life impresses you, then you are sure to enjoy it here all day and night. Although it’s a huge city, there is no time to relax and may not be suitable for everyone.”

  • Endor

Endor is a forest planet and the Ewoks reside here. It was the final battle’s scene in Return of the Jedi.

Matt Hudson: “For nature lovers, this is the ideal place to be in. However, there is not much of any actual value for bad men to attack the planet. You won’t find anything apart from Ewoks and trees, so you are in a safe place. The only downside is the Ewoks, as they kill you in cold blood.”

  • Hoth

It is a planet covered with ice and snow and headquartered in the Empire Strikes Back.

Matt Hudson: “An ice planet, which is very cold and you will only find a cave to live in. It is definitely not a great idea to live here.”

  • Naboo

It was the home of the Gungans, the Jar Binks, and Queen Amidala.

Matt Hudson: “A planet known for its culture and the countryside, wonderful scenery, the animals, and the waterfalls. The Queen loves their citizens, and the Gungans will be fine. The con is that it appears to be a pint and may be priced very high. But, I like the vibe of Naboo and I will give complete marks.”

  • Tatooine

It is a desert planet and has two suns. It was the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker.

Matt Hudson: “For me, this is indeed the Star Wars planet. Tatooine is a planet with a tough life. However, it is quite satisfying as you can lead a life like that of a farmer. If you can cope with the weather, it is a good place to be in.”

  • Alderaan

It was a beautiful land, but the Death Star destroyed it.

Matt Hudson: “It is one of the most desirable planets to be in. The people were kind and generous. Alderaan is like New Zealand to me and I see no flaws here. The Empire made this place its target to send a message.”

  • Mustafar

It had mostly the whole of lava and Darth Vader was stuck down on this planet by Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Matt Hudson: “This lava planet was not that bad in Rogue One. But the rocky terrain along with Lava Rivers is not a great option. It is extremely hot which makes it difficult to live I think”.

  • Dagobah

Luke Skywalker was trained by Yoda on this planet.

Matt Hudson: “A remote planet which doesn’t have many options, but Yoda survived here. He made a home out of a hut. You can survive too, but just beware of the water dragon and snakes.”

  • Kashyykk

It is a jungle planet covered with huge trees. It is the home of Kashyyk.

Matt Hudson: “The planet looks lovely with a whole lot of spots to relax like the beaches. There are carpenters and craftsmen if you are looking for some alternative. You can survive if you are in the good books of the Wookiees.”
